[OpenLayers-Users] Clearing a selection on a Layer

Hi

I am trying to programmatically clear s selection from a Vector Layer.

The latest version (2.11) of openlayers includes a clearSelection function
on the Vector layer function, but its commented out.

What is the correct way to clear a user selection?
