I haven't, however I believe you can just apply the patch

to your OpenLayers installation. 

I think you need to set up a git repository where your OpenLayers is
installed, and then apply the patch:

http://trac.osgeo.org/openlayers/wiki/ApplyingPatches 

Anyone want to confirm or deny this process?
