[OpenLayers-Users] Proxy.CGI issues in openlayers

Hi

I need some help please.

I got the following stack: ms4w-Apache & Geoserver

I am trying to get WMS/WFS select features going but am so so stuck on the
cgi script.

My she-bang line is directing to the correct python lib, CGI script is in
the correct location but when executing the python script (proxy.cgi) I get
the following error:

*Error text was: <urlopen error (11004, 'getaddrinfo failed')>

*It seems there is an issue with the urllib2, but I cant figure it
out, I have exhausted Google search*.*
