[OpenLayers-Users] points on vector layer - how to control size, color, make it have a mouseover-popup box

I just figured out how to put dots on the map at a given lat/lon.
OpenLayers is good stuff!

I'm now trying to figure out how to control the size/shape/color of
the dot that shows up and set up a mouseover popup with relevant info
from it.

Any clues?
