[OpenLayers-Users] Strategy.BBOX() question

Hi all,
i have a question about Strategy.BBOX(). Is it possible to append new features 
to the old ones without reload every time the same data?
I ask to you this question because if i have modified a feature and i  lost 
this modify if the layer will be reloaded again. Is there a way to make a sort 
an append to existing features?
