[OpenLayers-Users] VEMapStyle is undefined when using mapcontrol v7.0

Hello, 

 

I wonder if you could help. 

We are using Openlayers 2.11 and VirtualEarth map.

I'm now trying to upgrade the version of mapcontrol from 6.3 to 7.0 as
the older version is too heavy. 

 

Currently I have getMapTypes function in our code

 

   getMapTypes: function() {

 

        return {

            normal: VEMapStyle.Road,

            satellite: VEMapStyle.Aerial,

            hybrid: VEMapStyle.Hybrid

        };

 

    },

 

However when switching to 6.3c or 7.0, it throws an error "VEMapStyle"
is undefined. 

I had a look ta mapcontrol 6.3c and 7.0 version and both don't seem to
have VEMapStyle references. 

 

Does anyone know the right way of setting virtual earth tiles using 6.3c
or 7.0 ?

I tired pulling Bing tile direct, but that also caused an error.
