[OpenLayers-Users] Using restrictedExtent doesn't show overlay layer

Hi All,

I am a beginner in OpenLayers so any help would much appreciated. I have a
problem when I use restricted extent on a map object. I use Google terrain
map as a base layer. Over that layer I overlay buildings polygon layer that
is located on my personal GeoServer. Usually they are overlaid fine when
using maxExtent. But when I start using restrictedExtent my map does zoom to
required area but I cannot see the overlay layer on it. What would be a
reason for this and how to fix it.
