[OpenLayers-Users] Loadingpanel seems to go on forever

Hi,

after adding the loadingpanel control to my map, it quite ofter seems to never stop.

Is there anyway to control for how long the thing appears?  I would like to show the user that layers are loading, but even when the map div is complete, the loading panel still persists....

Are there any workarounds?
