[OpenLayers-Users] Scaleline in State Plane Projection

I am trying to use the scaleline control, but my map is in EPSG:2249 MA State
Plane and the control only displays NaN
if I change the projection to EPSG:4326 the scaleline shows miles and
kilometers, but my data doesn't display
