[OpenLayers-Users] Query multiple features from one or more vector layers

I have a map built with OL 2.11, which includes 2 vector polygon layers
retrieved by WFS.  There are many instances where polygons overlap from one
or both layers.  We need the capability to query the attributes from all of
the overlapping polygons on a click.

I am currently using the SelectFeature control and onfeatureselect events,
which works fine where there is only a single feature, however, it fails
where features overlap.

How can I accomplish what we need?
