[OpenLayers-Users] Support of the GML layer

Hello,
I'm just trying to change my small application from Text Layer to Vector
Layer.

As help I'm using the documentation
http://docs.openlayers.org/library/overlays.html#transition-markers-to-vectors

Due to some problems and tried to check the GML documentation. But I
can't find it in the OpenLayers archive. The 404-Error message says "The
requested URL /apidocs/files/OpenLayers/Layer/GML-js.html was not found
on this server".

Is that layer outdated and not supported anymore?
