[OpenLayers-Users] how to save polygon in database (postgresql)

hi,
I m newbie to open layers I have developed an application and in that I have
added WFS layers and options to draw point, polygon and line. Now I want to
save this polygon in database which is postgresql 9.0. i used save
strategy() but it doesn't save polygon to database. I am using openlayers
2.12, geoserver and postgis 2.0. 

Basically I want to do WFS-T please guide how can I do this.
