[OpenLayers-Users] WMS tile request being aborted in IE8

Hello all,

I have an app with multiple maps and I'm having problems with some WMS tile
requests being aborted in IE8 (to be honest this happens in IE 8/9/10 and
not in chrome or firefox). In the server i have both Mapserver and
Geoserver but most of the times this occurs with layers coming from
Geoserver. I have checked the request and all is fine, i tested by copying
the request and opening it in a new tab that displays the image correctly.

I have configured OpenLayers.IMAGE_RELOAD_ATTEMPTS = 2;
Still lots of them being aborted and hence lots of pink tiles in the maps.

I'm a bit lost here and ideas are lacking at this stage. Any suggestions?
