[OpenLayers-Users] Image reload attempts possibly ignored

Hey Andrea,

a lot has changed in image loading since 2.11. But regardless, the issue you are seeing can mean that only the first attempt caused image loading to fail with a load error (whatever that means to the browser, we cannot control that), and that the second did not trigger an error.

If you can point to a reproducible live example, I'll take a closer look. Also trying 2.13 instead of 2.11 might be a good idea.
