[OpenLayers-Users] snapping and adding node to other feature

I want to be able to use snapping with the added functionality of adding 
(if necessary) a node to another feature.
That is what one can do in Josm, the OSM desktop editor. The cursor 
snaps to a way and if you click, you add a node to the way you are 
adding/editing and to the way you clicked on.
I'd like to implement that in WFS-T.

Any tip?
