[OSGeo BC] OSM Vancouver Island Mappers Meetup group

Hi OSGeoBC group!

A quick note to let you know that i created this meetup group. The
purpose is to map Vancouver Island. I'm planning on having sub-groups
who focus on each particular aspect; Data Conversion; Data import;
Cyclemap; hikingmap; garmin map; tourist map; mapbook; general
editing, and the back-end programmers.

All types of mappers are needed!
I plan on hosting a uStream.tv broadcast in lu of going to Ottawa, to
also have a video conference for everyone involved, as a OSGeo hosted
SOTM.

Anyway, i look forward to meeting you all.
I have a mapping party scheduled for this Sunday, in Vancouver so i
hope to you then.

I plan on hosting a Meetup in Nanaimo, as that area needs more work.
It will be closer to the end of the month.
