[OSGeo BC] Stepping down

Agreed. Meetings ended up being once a year...aligned loosely with GeoWeb timing (which is now cancelled for 2011) this could be increased, more/varied speakers could be invited. Projects could be started and alignment with other groups could be explored.
I have not been able to commit much either...thank you to Jason for the help he has provided.
The original idea was to alternate between meetings on the Island and the Mainland. I believe that only happened for one cycle. I saw us eventually expanding that to an Interior site as well (maybe floating)...such a plan could be 3 meetings per year with rotating responsbility and not too much burden for any one organizer.

Whatever you want it to be :) The chapter started with a lot larger plans for activities and meetings. With the right energy some of that might happen. I don't think our wiki page has a lot of detail.

Good question - Mark or Jason could you elaborate for the rest of us? :)
