[osgeo4w-dev] Hello

Hello All:

I was curious about trying to get the MrSID plugin working.  I am  
getting a single undefined symbol at runtime.  I am using GDAL 1.6 and  
I am wondering which Compler was used for the pre built binary setup  
on osgeo4w install.  The MrSID package has 3 different binary builds,  
Vc7, VC8, and VC9.  I have tried VC7 and 8 and I am now downloading 9  
to try.  The undefined symbol is in the MrSid DLL that GDAL is calling.
