[osgeo4w-dev] Wildcards in OSGeo4W Shell w. GDAL?

Hi,

I'm not able to get wildcards to work with gdaltindex or gdalbuildvrt
in OSGeo4W shell.  I'm using GDAL 1.7.  Wildcards with these commands
do work on FWTools 2.4.7.  Any ideas?

The commands I used were:

gdalbuildvrt myfile.vrt *.tif
gdaltindex myfile.shp *.tif
