[osgeo4w-dev] gdal2tiles option to create JPEG tiles?

Is there an option to specify JPEG tiles with gdal2tiles?  MapTiler
can do it.  It also looks like I can go in and change self.tiledriver
= 'PNG' and self.tileext = 'png' to 'JPG', but it seems like there
should be a command option.
