In Italy (and not only) we have a problem accessing the server from
certain providers.

I was not able to test it now, since I am on linux, but would it be ok
to simply create a bat script as the one for the testing releases and
direct it to the http://download2.osgeo.org/ mirror, which instead is
visible?
