[osgeo4w-dev] Upgrading python to 2.7, continuing story of

Hello World,   Happy 2012 :)

 From "#219: Upgrade python version" it appears one major blockage to 
moving forward is wxpython. "#214: Update wxpython package" indicates 
there is confusion over what  needs to be done to build 2.7 wxpython. 
Can anyone shed light on how to do this? I don't use it so can't help.
