 Speaking of GDAL 1.10...when is OSGEO4W going to retire the nearly one
 year old GDAL 1.9.2 in favor of GDAL 1.10 :)  I realize that I can get it
 from gisinternals, but we can only get gdal from OSGEO4W .  And
 unfortunately we are still stuck on 32 bit Windows XP :(

 I suppose that's close to what necessary for gdal-dev.
