 `lasinfo` is somehow broken in the current OSGeo4W64. Executing `lasinfo`
 on any LAS file (e.g.
 [http://courses.ncsu.edu/mea582/common/media/01/0793_016.las.zip this
 one]) fails with "lasinfo.exe stopped working" message dialog:

 lasinfo some_tile.las
 }}}

 However, the tools is present and running just the help works:

 {{{
 lasinfo --help
 }}}

 In 32bit version, lasinfo works.

 This issue was originally reported in GRASS GIS bug tracker and the
 behavior for GRASS GIS modules dependent on libLAS is the same (32bit
 version and help works, processing fails in 64bit version):
