------------------------+---------------------------
WhiteboxTools is an open source advanced geospatial data analysis platform
developed at the University of Guelph's Geomorphometry and Hydrogeomatics
Research Group (GHRG). The project began in January 2017 and quickly
evolved in terms of its analytical capabilities.

The WhiteboxTools project has been developed using a permissive MIT
license (like GDAL), which allows for the tools to be readily incorporated
 into other GIS software.

It has over 400 fast geoprocessing alogrithms, written in Rust so it has
no dependencies, and can be used in QGIS with WhiteboxTools for Processing
plugin or in Python scripts via it's Python scripting interface.
