 Running QGIS LTR 3.40.7 (qgis-ltr 3.40.7-1, grass 8.4.1-4, gdal 3.10.3-2,
 proj 9.6.0-2) on my Windows 10 system, the v.buffer processing algorithm
 fails to properly execute due to the crash of v.buffer.exe:

 The issue didn't occur running QGIS LTR 3.40.5 (qgis-ltr 3.40.5-1, grass
 8.4.1-3, gdal 3.10.2-3, 9.5.1-1).


 Previously occurred again https://trac.osgeo.org/osgeo4w/ticket/872 and
 was fixed.

 (It seems saga-gis, untwine and pdal_wrench, previously also affected by
 the same issue, ara working without issues).
