 Hi Jef, i didnt see this patch thanks - reporting for awareness.

 I'm unsure if the fix is bundled into the current QGIS LTR 3.44.9-1. Will
 need to find the change notes. We dont patch python independtly for
 clients and rely on the bundled software.
