以前からエコリスから提供されているDEM（数値標高モデル

）を使っていたのですが、わたしの英語環境のマシンでは使えないのでインターフェースに関して英語化しました。英語環境で日本のDEMをダウンロードしてGeoTiffにしたい方（どれだけいるのかわかりませんが）には便利になりました。エコリスでは土地利用細分メッシュラスタ変換ツールも無料で提供しています。

英語環境下で日本のDEMを手に入れて使いたい方がいたら情報を流してください。

Ecoris, Japanese environmental research company developed a free
excellent DEM conversion tool, which converts Japanese DEM (250, 10
and 5m, GML format) into GeoTiff. I have used this tool and love it.
This program even mosaic DEMs and generate shaded relief. Since I
sometime use computers with English environment, I translated its
Japanese interface into English. Now, Ecoris offering this tool with
this English interface from their home page. It is kind of hard to
find the right place to download it since Ecoris's homepage is in
Japanese!!, so here I copied its direct link URL.
