OSGeo is happy to announce the call for hosting the FOSS4G 2015 event.
The 2015 FOSS4G RFP is available now at:

Highlights:

2015 is an "Outside of Europe and North America year"
Like last year, using a two-stage bidding process, with
letters-of-intent, followed by full proposals for selected bidders.
Letters of intent due March 14.
