Travel Grant Program and Volunteer's calls are out

The calls for applications to the FOSS4G 2022 *Travel Grant Program* and
*Volunteer* are officially OPEN!

OSGeo provides a Travel Grant Program (TGP) to facilitate accessibility and
diversity at the global FOSS4G 2022 Conference, which will happen in
Firenze, Italy, August 22-28. This will be the first in-person OSGeo event
since the disruptions caused by COVID-19, and while the pandemic is still
not over, we hope to bring as many participants together as the funds and
health regulations will allow. Given the circumstances, the program will
also dedicate a portion of the budget available to support remote
attendance (e.g. by providing access to reliable internet connection) for
those who will not be able to travel to Italy because of imposed
restrictions, travel costs, or other reasons.

Would you like to be part of the FOSS4G 2022 volunteer team? Be one of the
protagonist of the organising experience for this year's conference and
apply to become a volunteer!

FOSS4G 2022 is looking for volunteers to help us stay organised throughout
the conference and ensure all workshops, presentations, and events run
smoothly. Volunteers will not only help us make this experience more
pleasant for everyone, but they will have the opportunity to work closely
to all our speakers, they will have a chance to meet like-minded people and
individuals well noted in the open geospatial world, they will have 50% of
the time (when they are not covering shifts) of the whole duration of the
event to attend talks and workshops and live this unique experience.
