現在、イタリアEdmund Mach財団にご所属で、FOSS4G 2022 FirenzeのChairを務められたLuca
Delucchi氏が、JSPS外国人招へい研究者（短期滞在）制度にて4/15まで滞在されています。

氏は上記財団のDigital Agricultureyユニットに所属し、DigiAgriAppというほ場調査の開発を行っています。今回の滞在では、DIgiAgriAppの日本語化と日本の農地や森林管理等への応用の検討を行っています。

タイトル：Digital agriculture in Trentino at the Fondazione Edmund Mach

Abstract:
Digitalization in agriculture has gained significant attention in
recent years as a means to enhance and simplify fruit and vegetable
production. Trentino, traditionally an agricultural region with
numerous producers (often working part-time) and small-scale farms,
faces challenges in implementing a full digital transition, primarily
due to these small farm sizes.

In 2022, the Digital Agriculture unit was established with the goal of
developing digital and innovative solutions to address agricultural
challenges, particularly those related to the region's key crops, such
as vineyards and apple orchards.

During this presentation, we will showcase our research, share the
results we've achieved over the past few years, and highlight the
various projects we are currently involved in. Finally, we will focus
on DigiAgriApp, a free and open-source client/server application
designed for monitoring agricultural fields, developed by our unit.
