Thanks, excellent GeoNetwork feedback Simon.

Re install location. Thanks for your unix purist input, I've been 
looking for guidelines on where to install things on the liveDVD/GISVM, 
which has been listed here:

http://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/GISVM_Build#Directory_Structure

We see our build scripts as the first steps toward building a .deb file 
for the DebianGIS and UbuntuGIS projects. And I assume that once in 
those projects, files should be installed into /usr/lib instead of 
/usr/local.
Are the directory guidelines in the wiki above logical from a purist 
point of view?
