Hi Hamish,

Probably many of us, who joined the LiveDVD project later (like me), are not
aware of this wiki page. I saw it first time when Cameron mentioned it in an
email, and if all tests were as outdated as the pgRouting test was, then you
probably couldn't run any test with success ;-)

I think that it will be difficult in the future to ensure that every project
doesn't forget to keep all different documents up-to-date: there is a Google
Docs spreadsheet, the wiki page with tests, quickstart and introduction
document ... maybe there's even more. I'm not sure.

It would be nice to have things a bit more together, so information doesn't
get lost over the time and doesn't get so messy.
In my opinion the quickstart document would be a perfect test and nobody
needed to check and update the wiki page then. So maybe for the next release
it would be worth to think about to require a quickstart document and write
it in a way, that it can be a test as well.
Also information that is currently in the spreadsheet could for example move
into the header of the introduction document.

Just an idea,
Daniel
