just something to experiment with I think, and a head's-up for
what's in the pipeline.

upon reflection, it is probably rather bad to promote that as
the standard installation method. people WILL end up picking the
wrong drive and reformatting their hard drive by mistake.
(with promoting the functionality being different to making it
possible as an "advanced" method..)
