[Live-demo] errors due to postgis 1.5

Hi,

it seems that ubuntugis is shipping postgis 1.5 and this is getting picked
up and breaking a number of scripts. we need to decide if we'll ship the
official postgis 1.4 (which was working) or go with the new 1.5 version
from ubuntugis and adapt everything that needs adapting.

picking the version to install on the apt-get line is trivial:
 apt-get install package=version

we should explicitly specify which one we want.
