 just a quick note.

 The XFCE desktop allows the user to adjust the brightness of the desktop
 so it's up to the user if they want a lighter or darker desktop. Maybe we
 can set up a dark image and set up somewhere a default brightness (but I
 have no idea about how to achieve it)
