[Live-demo] short report from FOSSGIS 2011 Heidelberg, Germany

Hello,

I want to give a short report on FOSSGIS 2011 [1] in Heidelberg which took
place this week from 5th-7th of April 2011.

We had a great conference with of good talks, workshop, bofs, exhibition
area, social event and more. About 400 people came to the conference.

Every conference attendent got a bag with promotion material including the
OSGeo-Live DVD 4.5 FOSSGIS edition we printed for the conference.

There where 15 workshops [2] with 6-20 attendants.

There were lots of tweets on twitter [3] and a great blog from Reinout van
Rees [4].

I made a presentation on OSGeo-Live 4.5 [5].

It was a great conference. Thanks to OSGeo-Live. You can download the
slides here [5]. It was great that we could use the OSGeo-Live in the
workshops.
