You read correctly. Here's the reason, we are super tight on space this
version and some of the Java projects only work on Sun Java right now.
So will we've been bugging them to make OpenJDK compatible it simply
isn't reality. We do mean both jdk and jre since sun java is on there
and set as the default java (I think).

Yes on principal we want projects to go 100% open, maybe some open java
champions can help push that for version 5.5 in 6 months.
