 Hi, during this final critical phase I've been leaving tickets open until
 they are tested and confirmed fixed in the new distributable. otherwise we
 have to remember a separate list of things which should be fixed in theory
 but have not been tested in practice yet. thanks

 commit critical bug fixes only to trunk/bin/ at this time, even if they
 seem harmless, thanks x2
