Hi Brian,

sooo... it worked :-)

It's a pity I hadn't more time to improve the sample project, I plan
to dedicate more time to showcase more gvSIG functionality (labeling
and symbology mostly, but also an the layout, adding OWS LiveDVD
services, table stuff, etc) for the next release but well, for your
words I see it's ok for this release.

You can try also Simon's gvSIG quickstart with some nice exercises.
