Creating an OSGeo-Live Bootable USB flash

Unable to create a bootable USB flash drive from Windows, recommend:
1) download a mini ISO in Windows
2) create a bootable DVD image
3) make DVD and USB boot first
4) boot off that DVD ubuntu image
5) create a bootable USB from Ubuntu
