[Live-demo] creating live dvd with custom workshop materials included

Hello,

I need to create a version of the live dvd with some custom lab materials
included in the image. I've created a bootable thumb drive from the
osgeo-live-5.0.iso.  How can I boot that up in write mode so that I can copy
my workshop materials onto it?

 

If this is not the correct forum for this type of question please advise.
