[Live-demo] Booting from OSGEOLive USB flash drive issue

Alex, Brian,
Are your "build a USB" tips and tricks in a wiki page yet?
This coming week, it would be really good if we could see if we can 
refine the USB creation steps, and then potentially update the USB 
creation docs on OSGeo-Live before our final release.

It seems that there are a few tricks and quirks associated with USB 
creation, and it would be good to start cataloguing them.
