 Hi,

 once we knew that this was coming I stashed away a copy of the last-known-
 good ubuntu packages just for this occasion. It should be easy enough to
 download the .debs from one of our servers, 'dpkg -i' them, and put a hold
 on those packages so they don't get "upgraded" away.

 for the live 6.0 release ubu 12.04 will use oracle/openjdk 7 natively, so
 not prob.
