RE: PyWPS..

I need to improve the Iris quickstart (Iris doesn't have a GUI either)

I could easily adapted our OL2 tutorial from FOSS4G 2013 to work with PyWPS
  https://github.com/SciTools/osgeolive/tree/master/docs/osgeolive/source/solutions/zoo_rolling_window
  https://github.com/SciTools/osgeolive/blob/master/docs/osgeolive/source/foss4g_2013/advanced_wps_iris.rst

This would then give a demo of PyWPS, and the initial demo process would make just make use of "import iris" to read data from an unusual GIS data file (e.g. NetCDF).

Maybe simple OpenLayers2-based applicaton could do buffer.

It should be working with QGIS-WPS plugin too, but, since the standard is relatively underspecified in some fields, there might be a problem.

Thanks
