 VM: revB1 i686, 1824GB of RAM, four cores no changes to -Xmx

 Start GeoNetwork?; all cores active, RAM allocated all available to some
 small swap used; before the launcher progress bar is done, activity
 ceases; "Unable to Connect"

 `ps aux | grep java` shows no java processes running
