After switching to Bionic as our base OS version, there seems to be some
missconfiguration on the DNS settings of the resulting iso.

In order to reprocude the issue try:

 1. Boot the upstream lubuntu-18.04-desktop-amd64.iso and try to set the
network to a static IP. The /etc/resolv.conf file is properly setup to
point to the DNS servers you have provided.

 2. Boot the osgeo-live-nightly-build34-amd64-3d4bc66.iso and try to set
the network to static IP. The /etc/resolv.conf file is a symlink to
/run/resolvconf/resolv.conf but that file does not exist. Instead the file
/run/systemd/resolve/resolv.conf exists and if you symlink to that path
 everything works fine.
