Hi David,
I'm involved in the OSGeoLive project, and the Open Source Geospatial
Foundation (OSGeo).
The OSGeo Foundation [1] is the umbrella organisation the leading Open
Source Geospatial applications.
OSGeoLive packages ~ 50 of these applications [2] into a Lubuntu Linux
distribution, along with data, project overviews, and quickstarts, ready
to use by new users and in workshops. Docs are translated into multiple
languages. It is useful for new users learning about spatial
applications, for trainers teaching about maps, and is an effective
marketing pipeline for these applications.
Guillaume had joined our OSGeoLive channel [3] and I was asking whether
he thought there would be opportunities to us to collaborate with qwant
maps? He suggested you might be better positioned to answer that.
Feel free to reply publicly to our OSGeoLive list,
osgeolive at lists.osgeo.org. (There will be others interested in your
response as well.)
