  the script you mention here is part of the build system for the 
OSGeoLive ISO.. Is that what you intended ?
If you are trying to launch geonetwork, or trying to patch the 
installer script for geonetwork, those are 
different actions. 
 
  There is a general meeting on Freenode IRC channel #osgeolive soon, 
you are welcome to join there also
