It'll be better suited to have it be a presentation I think. 

Typically talks are 30-45 minutes. How much time do you need? (as more is
entirely doable)

Abstract: Getting Started with OpenLayers

OpenLayers is an open source javascript library that makes it easy to put a
dynamic map in any web page.  OpenLayers implements a (still-
developing)JavaScript API for building rich web-based geographic
applications, similar to the Google Maps and MSN Virtual Earth APIs, with
one important difference -- OpenLayers is Free Software, developed for and
by the Open Source software community.  This presentation will introduce
OpenLayers, discuss its features, and provide examples of basic tasks such
as getting started through to complex tasks such as plotting your own
geographic data dynamically in the client.

Andrew, is this a presentation or a workshop?  How long is it?
